ILOILO City – In Sitio Casamata, Barangay Central, Ajuy, Iloilo, a 69-year-old resident had been shot, a police report showed.
Feliciano Soberano had been peppered with bullets on the body.
Police identified a suspect: Rodolfo Hervas of Barangay Ferraris, Sara town.
Soberano was taken to the Sara District Hospital for the treatment of his gunshot wounds after the incident at 9 p.m. Monday.
Five empty shells of a .45 pistol were recovered from the crime scene.
Citing witnesses, police said the suspect fled after the incident.
Officers launched a hot pursuit against him./PN
