Aklan all set for opening of classes

KALIBO, Aklan – The Department of Education (DepEd) Aklan is ready for today’s resumption of classes in the elementary and high school levels.

Classes will still be via learning modules due to the coronavirus disease 20 pandemic.

According to Schools Division Superintendent Miguel Mac Aposin, the Oplan Balik-Eskwela Public Assistance Command Center (OBE-PACC) Division Committee will serve as the information and complaints processing and routing mechanism for the start of school year 2021-2022.

Queries, complaints and information requests from the general public will be accommodated by OBE-PACC.

Aposin said parents should get the learning modules from their children’s schools and they should observe the health protocols (washing of hands, wearing of facemask and shield and social distancing).

In DepEd Order 29, series of 2021, the new school year starts on Sept. 13, 2021 and will end on June 24, 2022. The 209 school days shall be inclusive of Saturdays and the five-day midyear break.
