AKLAN – The Department of Education – Division of Aklan hailed the winners of the 2021 Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing Schools (BEBIS).
This year’s BEBIS winners came from 24 public elementary and secondary schools in 13 districts of Aklan.
The annual Brigada Ekwela program from Aug. 3, 2021 to Sept. 30, 2021 had the theme “Bayanihan para sa Paaralan”.
Elementary School level
Makato Integrated School (District of Makato) bested Tamalagon Integrated School (District of Tangalan) and Numancia Integrated School (District of Numancia) in Mega School category.
Kinalangay Viejo Integrated School (District of Malinao) was declared the winner in the Medium School category. Bulwang Elementary School (District of Numancia) was in second place and Rosal Elementary School (District of Libacao) in third place.
New Washington Elementary School (District of New Washington) was hailed the champion in the Large School category. Banga Elementary School (District of Banga) ranked second while Malinao Elementary School (District of Malinao) was third. Calimbajan-Tina Elementary School (District of Makato) topped the Small School category for two consecutive years. Second placer was Sta. Cruz Elementary School (District of Ibajay West) and Unat-Bacagay Elementary School (District of Ibajay East) was third.
Secondary School Level
New Washington National Comprehensive High School (District of New Washington) was declared the champion in the Mega School category.
Toledo National High School (District of Nabas) came in second, while Libacao National Forestry Vocational High School (District of Libacao) was third place.
Vivo Integrated School (District of Tangalan) topped the Small School category. Lilo-an National High School (District of Malinao) placed second and Talon Integrated School (District of Altavas) was third.
Dr. Ramon B. Legaspi Sr. National High School (District of Makato) was the champion in the Medium School category while Guadalupe National High School (District of Libacao) was in second place. San Roque Integrated School (District of Malinao) was third.
Regional Science High School for Region VI (District of Kalibo II) topped the Large School category. Unidos National High School (District of Nabas) and Maloco National High School (District of Ibajay West) were declared second and third placers, respectively./PN
