KALIBO, Aklan – A farm in this capital town is drawing more tourists for its unique service: snake massage – the only reptile service of its kind in the province.
Tourists and locals alike flock to Kalibo Ostrich Farm in Barangay New Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan to experience and watch this exotic way of pampering.
Farm owner Ramon Dio said that he first saw this unique concept in a tourist spot in Bohol, and was inspired to offer the same at his farm.
Guests who are courageous enough to experience the service will just lie down inside a hut, as the Burmese and Albino pythons swirl around and over their bodies for a tickling and relaxing feel.
Snake massage is just one of the attractions in Kalibo Ostrich Farm. The facility is also home to around 40 Australian and African ostriches, which visitors may try to feed. (With Ilonggo Digital/PN)
