ILOILO City – A rape suspect from the province of Aklan was caught in Barangay Tambo, Paranaque City, Metro Manila.
The 33-year-old Jimny Montesir of Barangay Bagacay, Ibajay, Aklan had been hiding from the police these past two years.
He was arrested around 4:10 p.m. on Friday on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Bienvenido Barrios of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 3.
The court recommended no bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
