AKLAN – Aklan police captured the province’s No. 1 most wanted person in Barangay Manika, Libacao town.
Alias “Lito” was apprehended around 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, through the strength of an arrest warrant for rape by joint operatives of the Aklan Police Provincial Office’s intelligence and investigation Units, and the 1st Aklan Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Police said Lito’s arrest marks a significant victory in the province’s ongoing crackdown on violent offenders.
The suspect is now under police custody pending turnover to the appropriate court for legal proceedings.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
