BANGA, Aklan – The inter-agency task force here recorded 11 new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) from March 19 to 21. It urged residents to be very careful.

The new cases pushed to 93 the cumulative COVID-19 cases in Banga since recording started in March last year.

Of these nine, two were in a quarantine facility while seven were isolated in their respective homes.

The healthcare worker was tested positive on March 19. She was then admitted in the COVID ward of Dr. Rafael S. Tumbokon Memorial Hospital.

She also stressed the importance of wearing facemask and face shield, washing of hands and observing of physical distancing.

“Mga kapamilya ng healthcare worker at kanilang helper ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19,” Siyambio said.
