Those who filed their certificates of candidacy (COCs) on Thursday were:

The deadline of the filing of the COCs was 5 p.m. Thursday. The Liga election will be at 9 a.m. on July 30 in the MassKara Hall of the Bacolod City Government Center.
Distrito, Ayco and De Leon have earlier expressed interest in the Liga presidency.
But during a meeting with all Grupo Progreso-allied barangay captains prior to the filing of COCs, Leonardia announced that their party is endorsing Gonzales as Liga president candidate.
All village chiefs under Grupo Progreso are qualified to become Liga president but only one must occupy the post, said Leonardia.
Gonzales said the endorsement came as a surprise.
She said she never dreamt of becoming Liga president but will give her “101-percent best” and “quality service” if elected.
Gonzales first entered politics when she was 16 years old as Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairperson. She later served as Taculing kagawad for three terms.
The 33-year-old was elected Taculing village chief during the barangay and SK elections just this May 14./PN
