BACOLOD City – Police arrested an alleged gun runner in a buy-bust operation on Saturday, January 4, in a subdivision in Barangay 1, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
According to the Kabankalan City police, alias “Jason”, 28, a resident of Villareal, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental, was caught around 1:50 p.m. after handing over a caliber .357 revolver to a poseur buyer in exchange for P4,000.
The suspect was detained at the Kabankalan City Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
