BACOLOD City – An alleged mentally unstable father stabbed his two sons ages one and two years old around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday – before slitting his own throat – in Barangay Owacan, Jimalalud town, Negros Oriental.
Village chief Maclen Eleuterio of Barangay Owacan reported the incident to the authorities.
The suspect was identified as George Wanican, 26, married and a resident of the barangay.
The young victims were stabbed by their father using a “pinuti” blade. The two sons were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment
Police are still investigating the incident./PN
