ILOILO City – After nine years of eluding policemen, a murder suspect was finally arrested.
Wilfredo De Juan, 64, of Barangay Lupo, Altavas, Aklan was collared in Bataan, Aklan on Saturday.
Around 2 p.m., the police served an arrest warrant to the suspect then took him to Altavas.
The Altavas police station listed De Juan as its No. 1 most wanted person.
Judge Marietta Homena-Valencia of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 4 in Kalibo, Aklan issued the arrest warrant.
No bail was recommended for De Juan’s temporary liberty./PN
