ILOILO City – The emergency transport ambulance of New Lucena, Iloilo fell on its side along the national highway in Barangay Cabugao, Pavia, Iloilo. Its driver was injured.
The 62-year-old Dionisio Aquino of Barangay Baclayan, New Lucena was brought to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
The ambulance was homebound around 2:50 p.m. on Saturday when it figured in the accident. It fetched a person who was supposed to undergo quarantine in the town.
Ambulance staff Silbert Guillen, 30, and Bernard Begerano, 26, and the said passenger were unhurt.
