BACOLOD City – An American national sustained body injuries after he was allegedly mauled by a Lebanese national on March 29 in Purok Pahu, Barangay Zone 1, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Police requested not to name the two men. They were only identified as 26-year-old American, a resident of Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental, 45-year-old Lebanese man from the town’s Barangay Zone 2.
Murcia police said the suspect got angry after learning that the American national was “maliciously” texting his minor house helper.
While the victim was walking, he was punched by the Lebanese man, police added./PN
