A BIT OF foreplay completely unrelated and just like jazz, the riffs will just come together in the end.

The pseudo-communists of the so-called Makabayan bloc are calling for the dismantling of the National Task Force to End Local Communists Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) and it most probably means that the task force is effective in its mandate in ending this more than 50-year-old conflict by exposing the hypocrisy of all front organizations, particularly the party-list ones in Congress. Must be hurting them hence they’re crying ouch.

These out-of-job actors and actresses of the defunct ABS-CBN television station supporting one of the New People’s Army’s (NPA) front organizations, Gabriela, are doing so mainly to keep themselves relevant and probably earn some “talent fee” (and I use the word talent liberally), not because they support the feminist movement but mostly because they don’t like President Duterte.
Which makes one wonder why were these pseudo-activists silent during their heyday as one of the talents (again I use the word “talent” liberally) of the former ABS-CBN television station. It’s not that women’s rights issues just came out during the time of President Duterte and simultaneous with the expiration and failure of ABS-CBN to renew its franchise.
So go ahead, wear red lipstick. While you’re at it, also wear red knickers, after all this government is not authoritarian or fascist. You just happen to hate Duterte.
And by the way, it’s the same form of government since July 4, 1946 and still is now.

Just because you prefer to have sex with someone of the same sex does not make you special. You have the same rights and opportunities (how you use them is an entirely different story) as any other heterosexual male or female. Only the elderly and disabled are entitled to preferential treatment.
All this nonsense that “gay rights” are human rights is just that – nonsense. We are all humans and have the same rights. Who you go to bed with does not entitle you to have “special rights”. The same goes for your sex. What you have between your legs determine it, not what you fancy yourself to be.

Donald Trump likes adult prostitutes while Joe Biden prefers children. Ponder on that.

And we segue to something much more pleasant, perhaps poignant, but certainly evokes certain sadness.
And a song I was writing is left undone
I don’t know why I spend my time
Writing songs I can’t believe
With words that tear and strain to rhyme
And so you see I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you…
If some of you may have noticed, our title and these lines are from Kathy’s Song, a song by Simon & Garfunkel from the album Sounds of Silence, their second studio album released on Jan. 17, 1966. Many of the songs in the album had been written by Paul Simon while he lived in London during 1965. And it is Kathy’s Song that we focus our attention because of what it means to singer/songwriter Paul Simon.
It’s a beautiful melancholic song about someone coming to the realization that what he thought he knew as real is not as real as it seemed after falling in love with this lady. It is coming to a conclusion that the only thing that is real for him is Kathy and the time spend being in love with her, who he believes is the only real thing[love] in his life right now in the present to hold on to and preserve.
It is a poignant song of longing and Paul Simon has beautiful lyrics and imagery. You can almost feel his pain and doubt; you hear the hope, the almost-desperate love.
I really like this song as it evokes pleasant memories of someone I loved and lost a long time ago.
And I leave with some lines from Kathy’s Song…
My mind’s distracted and diffused
my thoughts are many miles away
they lie with you when you’re asleep
and kiss you when you start your day…
Perhaps overwhelmed with longing, years ago I texted those lines to someone and all she replied was OK./PN
