TO THINK Margaux Justiniano Uson a.k.a. Mocha has not even warmed her fabulous derriere sitting at her desk as new Deputy Executive Director of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration or OWWA and they are already taking pot-shots at her.
All the social climbers, so-called “disente”, the self-appointed guardians of morality, padres and madres de cacao and the “devotees to the cult of the yellow ribbon” are squirming in their yellow Marks and Spencer knickers again.
And it’s not that ants somehow got into their knickers and drawers but the latest news about Secretary Margaux Justiniano Uson a.k.a. Mocha, particularly her OWWA appointment and just the thought of it is making them extremely uncomfortable.
Although some people are saying it’s just probably envy because it’s Mocha and not them and Moi is not surprised but rather expects this kind of violent reaction about anything remotely related to Mocha Uson.
I mentioned in a previous column now that she’s back in government expect to be titillated everyday on mainstream and social media and that is no surprise as anyone who claims to be someone just wants a piece of her literally and figuratively speaking.
And this is just a start:

Comelec exec pushes expanded appointment ban on losing poll bets
Nominees of losing party-list groups should also be covered by the one-year ban on appointment in public office, an official of the Commission on Election (Comelec) said.
Comelec commissioner Rowena Guanzon appealed to Sen. Imee Marcos, who chairs the Senate committee on electoral reforms, to include the party-list bets in appointment ban.
Guanzon made the call after former communications assistant secretary Margaux “Mocha Uson’s return to government as deputy administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
“I am appearing in the Committee of Sen. Imee; I propose (that the) ban should also cover Party-List nominees” Guanzon said in a tweet. “And party-list to put up bond. If nominee is DQ (disqualified), forfeit their bond.”
Guanzon also retweeted another social media post quoting her as saying: “They should not be a favored class because they are not a protected class.”
And this is Comelec’s say on that:
Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez has earlier said that President Rodrigo Duterte’s appointment of Uson was not a violation since party-list representatives are not covered by the one-year appointment ban.
“She is not covered. Party-list nominees are not candidates per se and so, the rule does not apply to them,” Jimenez said.
This makes Le Affair Mocha rather curious. Would anybody make a fuss over the appointment if it was not Margaux Justiniano Uson a.k.a. Mocha that was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte?
I think not.
If the President appointed a boring uninteresting person with absolutely no sex appeal to the position as Deputy Executive Director of OWWA, would they even notice it?
Most probably no, and that boring uninteresting person with absolutely no sex appeal would have reached the ripe old age of retirement and they all would have not even noticed it.
The issue there is Margaux Justiniano Uson a.k.a. Mocha, nothing else. Take note that she is an educated person; Mocha Uson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Santo Tomas in 1998. She later enrolled at the university’s Faculty of Medicine and Surgery school in 1999, but left during her second year to pursue professional modeling and a song-and-dance career.
Que horror…que barbaridad…Mocha Uson is an educated person, an alumna of the Pontifical University, the University of Santo Tomas, so she is not some two-bit exotic dancer from a strip joint in Cubao.
She will be working for the welfare of the overseas Filipino workers which is one of her expertise having been an overseas Filipino worker or OFW herself, and she just happens to be totally outspoken on matters about sex and oozing with sex appeal herself.
It’s like high school at the prom; all the plain wallflowers are ganging up the sexy beautiful prom queen. Apparently some people just can’t grow up and move on from their traumatic miserable high school prom.
As I said, I’ll chose Mocha Uson over any hypocrite self-appointed guardian of morality. Between her and that “barefoot lady from Naga” a.k.a. Leni Robredo famous for “I have 3 daughters and they’re all girls”, I’ll take Mocha Uson. So there. (brotherlouie16@gmail.com/PN)
