MANILA – Billionaire Andrew Tan’s Alliance Global Group Inc said Monday his eldest son, Kevin, would succeed him as chief executive officer.
The elder Tan will stay on as chairman of the board, Alliance Global said in a statement. He was CEO since 2016, according to the conglomerate.
“Kevin’s vast exposure and professional experience in the various companies under Alliance Global Group for almost two decades brings him to the pedestal of this new leadership role,” Andrew Tan said.
The younger Tan was executive director of the conglomerate since September 2016 and holds directorships in Emperador, Inc., Global-Estate Resorts, Empire East Land Holdings and Golden Arches Development Corp, the holder of the master franchise of McDonald’s Philippines.
He also heads Megaworld Lifestyle Malls. (ABS-CBN News)
