ANGEL Locsin opened a community pantry on her birthday, April 23 at the Titanium Commercial Building, 36 Holy Spirit Drive cor. Don Matias Street, Quezon City.
The actress took the community pantry to the next level by placing it in a mini-grocery setting so more people and more stocks can be accommodated.
“Bilang pagpupugay sa Bayanihan ng mga Pilipino at sa mga nagtayo ng mga community pantries sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa natin, I decided to celebrate my birthday tomorrow by putting up a community pantry,” Angel wrote on Instagram on the eve of her birthday.
According to her, the volunteers have been tested during the packing, so anyone who goes there is safe from coronavirus disease 2019.
She also encouraged everyone who wants to go to the community pantry to follow health protocols and bring eco-bag.GMA News/PN
