This was the response of Angelica Panganiban to a fan who recently made light of her falling out with Carlo Aquino by commenting that the actor has “left the group” on her Instagram post Thursday.
The said post was a photo of the “Banana Sundae” star from her current vacation in Italy with companions who happen to share the same surname as her former boyfriend and “Exes Baggage” leading man.
“Natitirang matitinong Aquino na mahal na mahal ko. Mi familia,” wrote Angelica, greeting one family member a happy birthday.
In another remark, the Kapamilya star lauded a “witty” follower who referenced her memorable line in the 2012 romance drama film “One More Try” in a comment.
“Ang pagmamahal ni Angge, hindi basta-basta nauubos. Pero ang matitinong Aquino, konting-konti na lang,” the netizen said.
Angelica and Carlo, whose on-screen reunion for the 2018 film “Between Exes” spurred hopes among loyal fans of a rekindled romance, got involved in a publicized spat early this year after photos of the actor with his new girlfriend, model Trina Candaza, surfaced online.
Asked in a recent interview whether he had led on Angelica into believing there was a chance for a romance anew, Aquino admitted: “Siguro po…Mahal ko siya, pero parang mas gusto ko mas friends kami. Natatakot lang talaga kasi ako na masaktan siya ulit.” (Push)
