ANGELINA Jolie revealed that she’s planning to spend more time in Cambodia when her children turn 18 years old.

“I grew up in this town (LA). I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,” she shared in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress continued: “When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here. [After Los Angeles,] I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world.”

Angelina has six children with former partner Brad Pitt – Shiloh, Pax, Vivienne, Knox, Zahara, and Maddox.

In the same interview, Angelina was asked if what projects she wants to pursue next.

“There are some bigger directing projects that would take longer that I haven’t been able to do. The one sitting at my desk now, a big epic that’s on my mind, the wonderful story of [British photojournalist] Don McCullin,” she relayed.

The actress went on: “In many ways, it’s about the rise and fall of journalism. Don’s an extraordinary man. He’s still around, and he’s become a friend and he’s amazing in what he’s seen. I would love to spend time and trace his steps and maybe learn more. I’m a terrible student. If I have to just read something, I don’t get it at all. But if I experience it or meet somebody and it’s personal, then I understand.”

Angelina highlighted that she also wants to play a villain.

The actress is currently headlining the movie “Maria,” wherein he plays the role of opera singer Maria Callas.

Angelina was all praised for the director for giving her the time she needed to develop her singing skills.

The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival on August 29 and is set to be released on Netflix in the US. (PUSH)
