THE second set of celebrity housemates who will join the upcoming season of Pinoy Big Brother was announced on Thursday.
The fourth housemate announced as part of the slate of celebrity housemates for the 10th season of PBB is Anji Salvacion.
Dubbed “Ang Singing Sweetheart ng Siargao,” Anji started her career as a contestant of the reality singing competition Idol Philippines, which aired on ABS-CBN.
Fame didn’t come easy for her as she had to earn money by being a body double for onscreen projects.
She also collaborated with KD Estrada, another celebrity housemate, for the theme song of the iWant original project called My Sunset Girl.
The fifth housemate is the “Laughter Lodi Ng Manila”, TJ Valderrama.
While he had appeared in the variety show Rush TV, TJ is perhaps most notably known for his stint on the It’s Showtime segment “Funny One.”
He climbed his way to prominence by appearing in different comedy projects such as Home Along Da Riles, Bida si Mister, Bida si Misis, and Basta’t Kasama Kita. He only earned as little as 350 pesos by doing “extra” roles on television back then.
He also appeared in the Philippine Educational Theater Association’s (PETA) Game of Trolls.
He likewise tried doing stand-up in comedy bars, doing shows in Laffline and Library,”among others.
The sixth celebrity housemate who was announced as part of Pinoy Big Brother is Samantha Mae Bernardo. She is known for her stint as Miss Grand International 2020 first runner-up.
Dubbed “Ang Bread Queen-er ng Palawan,” she started joining pageants after finishing her studies in college.
At that time, her run in the competition came as a surprise to many after she replaced the reigning queen.
Alyssa Valdez, KD Estrada, and Madam Inutz were the first three celebrity housemates confirmed to enter the house.(Push)
