TO celebrate Baby Dahlia’s upcoming first birthday on March 2, Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff launch fundraising to help disadvantaged children.
The couple partnered with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for the event, which aims to raise over P1 million to help disadvantaged mothers and children get proper health care they need.
“Celebrating the first birthday of our daughter, Dahlia Amelie, brings us a lot of excitement [and] happiness. The journey of and to parenthood has really taught us how important the first 1000 days of life are for a child. From pre-natal care in their mother’s womb to their first steps, the first 1000 days play a very vital role in every child’s health and development,” said Anne and Erwan on their gogetfunding.com page.
“Sadly, not all children and mothers have access to the information or essentials needed to ensure both mother and child are healthy and happy,” they continued. “There’s nothing [we] wish more than for all children to be given the best start in life. So, to our friends, family, fans and followers I hope you can join this meaningful fundraiser for Dahlia’s birthday and contribute to this cause.”
According to the couple, whatever amount is raised, they will donate it to the Philippine arm of UNICEF. (Push)
