ILOILO City – Two illegal drug suspects were arrested in buy-bust operations Dingle, Iloilo and San Jose, Antique, police reports showed.

Renz Jorgen Eribal, 30, was caught in Barangay Namatay, Dingle at around 10:25 p.m. on Feb. 5.

Police officers seized from Eribal – a resident of Barangay Caingin, La Paz district – two sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and P200 buy-bust money, among others.

Eribal was in the custody of the Dingle police station.

At around 9:45 p.m. of the same day, the 42-year-old cellphone technician Jun “Toto Tike” Montinola was arrested in Barangay 4, San Jose where he also resides.

He yielded four sachets of suspected shabu, P600 cash, crumpled aluminum foil, two disposable lighters, and a cellphone.

The San Jose police station took Montinola in custody.

Both suspects face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
