ANTIQUE – Alert Level 3 is extended in Antique until February 15, 2022.
Last Tuesday morning, Feb. 1, Governor Rhodora Cadiao issued an Executive Order No. 004, Series of 2022 or An Order Extending the Implementation of Alert Level System 3 for Covid-19 Response in the Province of Antique.
Here are the requirements for leisure travel in Antique.
For Antiqueños
* Valid ID and COVID-19 vaccination card or vaccination certificate or a medical certificate stating that the holder is not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.
For tourists or staycationers within the Provinces of Iloilo, Antique, Aklan, Capiz, and Guimaras
* Valid ID and COVID-19 vaccination card or vaccination certificate or a medical certificate stating that the holder is not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.
* Proof of booking reservation issued by a DOT-accredited resort or hotel. Provided, that if non-Antiqueño tourists will not stay overnight, booking reservation is no longer necessary.
For tourists or staycationers from outside the Provinces of Antique, Capiz, Aklan, Iloilo, and Guimaras
* Valid ID and COVID-19 vaccination card or vaccination certificate or a medical certificate stating that the holder is not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine
* Proof of booking reservation issued by a DOT-accredited resort or hotel
* Negative RT-PCR result.
Negative RT-PCR test result and notice of coordination and returning residents and authorized persons outside the residence is required, according to Cadiao.
But on Wednesday morning, February 2, the governor of Antique requested the Antique Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to omit the negative RT-PCR test result required for the people traveling to Antique or inbound travelers.
Here are guides to follow while Antique is under Alert Level 3.
* The maximum load capacity of Public Utility Vehicles within the Province of Antique shall be at seventy percent.
*Heavy vehicles weighing more than five tons such as dump trucks carrying quarry resources, delivery trucks, and ten-wheelers shall pass via San Joaquin- Hamtic road because Suragan Bridge along Tiolas- Sinugbuhan road is under repair.
* Liquor ban is lifted. Drinking in public places is allowed until 11:00 p.m.
* Curfew is from 12:00 midnight until 4:00 am. APOR, night shift essential workers, persons with medical needs or emergencies, and persons availing of urgent legal aid are exempted from the curfew.
As of February 1, the province of Antique has a total of 8,074 confirmed cases, 1,054 are active, 6,713 recovered and 307 deaths.
The 1,054 active cases came from different towns such as: San Jose (205), Hamtic (158), Sibalom (147), San Remigio (101), Culasi (79), Tibiao (78), Valderrama (41), Bugasong (40), Pandan (37), Belison (36), Laua-an (27), Patnongon (27), Tobias Fornier (22), Barbaza (21), Libertad (11), Caluya (nine), Sebaste (eight), and Anini-y (seven)./PN
