ILOILO City – A village chief arrested his older brother for alarm and scandal in Barangay Magsaysay, Culasi, Antique, a police report showed.
The 40-year-old Erwin Ventura, resident of Barangay Magsaysay, turned over the 49-year-old Jimmy Ventura to the municipal police station on Tuesday.
Jimmy’s arrest came after he made “scandalous acts” that caused fear among locals.
Police said Jimmy was drunk and armed with a bolo. He tried to pick a fight with the residents, they added.
Jimmy was now detained in the Culasi police station, facing charges./PN
