LAUA-AN, Antique – In Barangay Casit-an, a man crossing a river to go home drowned on Sunday night.
Arnold Sentino was a 28-year-old resident of Barangay Lupa-an, Laua-an. Strong water current swept him away, according to the Laua-an police station.
Personnel of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Bureau of Fire Protection and Laua-an police conducted a search and rescue operation. It took them hours to find Sentino’s body.
