MANILA – A 26-year-old native of San Jose, Antique, temporarily staying in Santa Mesa district had been missing since November last year.
His family continues to look for him. They worry he may already be dead.
Marco Zeus Saquibal was applying for a seafaring job in Ermita district, his mother Marissa told the Manila Police District – General Assignment and Investigation Station (MPD-GAIS).
“Hanggang sa ngayon ay wala pa kaming contact sa kanya at wala pa rin kaming natatanggap na tawag tungkol sa kanya,” she said on Tuesday afternoon. “Ang pinangangambahan lang namin ay baka na–Tokhang siya.”
Marissa appealed to those who know her son’s whereabouts to contact 09064702021, 09264014358, 09351369602, and 09360318564.
Saquibal was last seen in the evening of Nov. 20, 2016, Marissa said, citing her son’s boardinghouse landlord Albert Austria.
Saquibal was reportedly arrested for illegal drugs prior to his disappearance.
“According sa landlord niya, may pumunta daw na dalawang lalaki at isang babae sa kanyang boardinghouse noong gabi ng Nov. 20,” Marissa told the police. “Una daw umalis iyong dalawang lalaki, tapos sumunod iyong babae.”
She added: “Nakita noong landlord na nasira iyong pintuan ng kuwarto ng anak ko at iyong mga gamit niya ay nakakalat. Wala namang nawawala, pati iyong papeles niya sa pag-seaman ay intact.”/PN
