ANTIQUE – The No. 4 most wanted person in this province was arrested around 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, in Barangay Funda-Dalipe, San Jose de Buenavista town.
Facing rape charges, the 45-year-old Jonefre Abella was a resident of the town’s Barangay Maybato North.
Abella was caught by the officers of the San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS) through the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Ernesto Abijay Jr. dated June 18, 2024.
The suspect was detained at the San Jose MPS.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
