BACOLOD City – A foreigner was found dead inside his apartment in Barangay Calindagan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, a police report showed.
He was identified as 54-year-old Markus Friedrich Hiller, a resident of Bayern, Germany, the report added.
Police said it was rent collectors who found the lifeless body of Hiller around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Based on what the investigators gathered so far, Hiller went to the hospital on Tuesday for a medical checkup.
A post-mortem examination was conducted to determine hiller’s cause of death.
