Araneta Street in Bacolod closed for night market

BACOLOD City – The Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) here has approved a resolution for the temporary closure of Araneta Street to give way for the night market.

Organized by the Bacolod Dry Goods Association Inc., the night market is scheduled on December 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31.

The SP’s Resolution No. 997 approved the recommendation of the Local Market Committee (LMC) for a temporary full road closure from the area of the Philippine National Bank to Banco De Oro Araneta branch.

Jose Antonio Robello, deputy of the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO), said the road closure starts at 6:30 p.m. to 12 midnight to allow vendors to sell their goods in the area./PN
