BAGO CITY, Negros Occidental – Track and field athletes from Area 7 kept on capturing medals in the Negros Provincial Meet 2019 at the Manuel Torres Sports Center here.
Jennifer Hudierez captured her second gold medal of the Provincial Meet on Tuesday by ruling the secondary girls 400-meter hurdles event.
She topped the 100-meter hurdles on Monday.
Just like Hudierez, Franzine Alamo also netted her second gold medal. She topped the women’s triple jump event. Fellow Area 7 athlete Kate Andrea Lim settled for bronze medal.
Ciara Largavista, meanwhile, settled for a silver medal finish in the secondary girls 3K event.
Gold medal winners in the three-day Provincial Meet are set to represent the Western Visayas in the WVRAA Meet slated next year./PN
