ILOILO City – Police arrested a man charged with two counts of rape in Barangay South Fundidor, Molo district.
He was identified as 26-year-old Ronelo Mailem of Barangay Sta. Cruz, Arevalo district.
Mailem’s apprehension around 8:40 a.m. on Monday was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Arevalo police station. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
