ILOILO City – An altercation led to the fatal shooting of a laborer from Barangay General Luna, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo yesterday.
The 28-year-old Efren Bagatnan died gunshot wounds on the head and body at the district hospital in the town.
Police identified the suspect as Marconi Jamosin, 51, of the same village.
They were in a heated argument when Jamosin grabbed a gun of a still undetermined caliber and fired at Bagatnan around 2 a.m., police said.
Jamosin was detained at the Barotac Viejo police station./PN
