BACOLOD City – A heated argument prompted a man to stab dead a drinking buddy in Barangay Masulog, La Castellana, Negros Occidental on Wednesday.
The fatality was Alden Alojepan, 39, while the suspect was Justin Tribu, 23, both residents of the village.
According to the police, Tribu attacked Alojepan using a knife during a drinking binge around 7 a.m. in the house of another friend.
The victim was rushed to the Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in this city where he expired.
Tribu, meanwhile, was detained at the La Catellana police station./PN
