Arirang Korean Restaurant: New location, same great food!

Arirang’s Korean buffet will take your taste buds to the land of kimchi and samgyupsal – now at its new prime location at the The Uptown Place Condominium General Luna Street, Iloilo City.

AS the glowing lanterns hang from the ceiling and the fragrance of Korean food fills the air, there is no need to travel outside of the Philippines anymore. Arirang Korean Restaurant brings Korea in Iloilo!

Arirang Korean Restaurant’s buffet features 40 kinds of Korean cuisine, including favorites kimchi, shrimp tempura and gimbap.

Previously situated in The Mansion (formerly known as Sarabia Manor Hotel), Arirang is now located on the ground floor of The Uptown Place, General Luna St. Iloilo City. The restaurant in its new location had its soft opening on June 28, and official opening on July 15.

The venue may have changed to The Uptown Place but the food definitely stays the same – delicious, mouth-watering and sending an overwhelming sensation all the way to the stomach. You can order world-class Korean dishes such as Gadji Bok-eum, Cactugi, Kimchi, Fried Kimbab, Guguma Jeon, and a whole lot more! These dishes are organic as they don’t just satisfy your cravings but also gets your skin glowing. Eating these authentic dishes can help you get the flawless Korean skin.

Arirang’s buffet opens from 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Lunch is affordable for only 349 pesos while dinner is at the friendly price of 399. These already include the value-added tax. There is a 20 percent discount for senior citizens and PWDs. Also, students get to have their own menu with prices starting at P170.

Aside from its affordable prices, another good reason to experience Arirang is the regular promos. If there are 10 of you, you should bring a plus one since he or she can eat for free. Also, a birthday celebrant can eat for free as long as he is accompanied by four people.

Furthermore, Pastor Mike Lee informed Panay News that Arirang is planning to have a new branch located inside the University of San Agustin. This plan might come true on October this year. Also, he stated that there are plans to expand the business in Robinsons Palawan.

The restaurant got its name, Arirang from a title of a traditional song. This song gives Koreans the nostalgic memories of childhood and how beautiful their country is. Saying “Arirang” in Korea is like saying “Mabuhay!” in the Philippines.
