ROXAS City – The Philippine Army’s 3rd Infantry Division (3ID) recently rendered a testimonial review and retirement ceremony to honor Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) director Brigadier General John Bulalacao, who is set to retire on June 27, 2019.
The ceremony, led by 3ID commander Brigadier General Dinoh Dolina, was held at the 3ID parade ground in Jamindan, Capiz last week.
Bulalacao was given honor as the 3ID’s appreciation of his untiring support to the Army Division during his stint as PRO-6 director, specifically in peace and security efforts in Western Visayas.
“I only have a few days left in the service and I can say that I am finishing strong,” Bulalacao said in his message.
The region’s top chief is known for his compelling war against illegal drugs and other forms of criminality which delivered significant results.
He is also recognized for strengthening the monitoring of police officials and personnel, thus maintaining PRO-6’s excellent law enforcement and public service.
Bulalacao, who is a member of the Philippine Military Academy-Maringal Class of 1988, is the former spokesman of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
He also served as chief of the regional directorial staff of the National Capital Region Police Office.
“You too can do it if you protect your service reputation, maintain discipline, be dedicated to your duties, and believe in the power of prayers,” Bulalacao reiterated.
Dolina meanwhile expressed his gratitude for 3ID’s remarkable partnership with Bulalacao.
He also thanked the outgoing PRO-6 director for maintaining the strong collaboration of the PNP and Army to keep Western Visayas safe and free from criminalities. (With a report from PIA/PN)
