ILOILO City – A woman accused of defamation was arrested in her house in Barangay Divinagracia, La Paz district.
The 52-year-old Edna Soropia was served with an arrest warrant at around 10:20 a.m. on June 7. She was taken to the La Paz police station.
The court’s recommended bail bond for her temporary liberty was P18,000.
It was unclear as of this writing if Soropia was able to post bail./PN
