ILOILO City – The police arrested a 55-year-old man on June 10 in Barangay L-98, Jaro district.
Pedro Delariarte of Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district had been charged with violation of Republic Act 7832 that prohibits pilferage of electricity and theft of electric power transmission lines.
Cops served the arrest warrant at around 9 a.m. Delariarte was then taken to the Mandurriao police station.
The court recommended a bail bond of P72,000 for Delariarte’s temporary liberty./PN
