BACOLOD City – Charged with arson, two suspects were nabbed in Barangay Malubon, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 52-year-old George Lamis was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, a police report showed.
Later that evening, Calvo was also arrested, the report added.
The Regional Trial Court Branch 73 in Sagay City issued the warrant against the suspects on July 31.
Lamis and Calvo were detained in the lockup cell of the Sagay City police station.
The court recommended a bail bond worth P40,000 each for their temporary liberty./PN
