SHARON Cuneta disclosed that a lot of people have been asking her for free tickets to her upcoming “Dear Heart” concert with Gabby Concepcion, with the Megastar admitting that it has already been giving her a “headache.”
“Tuwing magkaka-concert ako, pinakasumasakit ang ulo ko hindi sa gagawin ko sa show, kundi sa dami ng humihingi ng complimentary o libreng tickets!” she said through her Instagram page on Friday, Aug. 18.
“Limited lang po ang complimentary tickets ko at sa totoo lang, itong concert na ito ang pinakanagpasakit ng ulo ko,” she added, referring to her “Dear Heart” concert on Oct. 27.
The veteran actress-singer underscored how she shows her support to her fellow singers by purchasing their concert tickets rather than asking them for free passes.
“Kaya nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat ng friends at family members ko na ‘di na ako iniistorbo at kusang bumibili ng tickets nila,” she stated.
“Sa totoo lang po, ang aga naubos ng tickets ko! ‘Pag ako pa bumili, baka si Gabby na lang ang kumanta dahil mauubos ang sweldo ko sa kakalibre,” she continued.
Cuneta also noted that the reunion concert has a high production cost, hence the prices of the tickets. The “Dear Heart” tickets range from P1,200 to P18, 500.
“Pasensya na po at nagta-trabaho lang ang girl niyo! Kung pwede lang ilibre ko lahat kayo, pero syempre ‘di ko kaya,” she concluded. “Thanks so much for understanding. Love you all!”
The love team of Cuneta and Gabby, dubbed as “ShaGab,” began after they starred in the 1981 film “Dear Heart.” Three years after the movie was released, Cuneta and Gabby got married, then welcomed their daughter KC Concepcion a year later.
The former couple had their marriage annulled in 1987. (Anne Pasajol © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
