BACOLOD City – A newborn baby girl was found lifeless in a dumpsite in Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Police said the infant was discovered by a garbage collector around 7 a.m. on Nov. 12.
The baby was placed in a black bag inside a tiny box tied with plastic straws, said the collector.
The body was brought to a health facility and later transferred to a local mortuary for autopsy.
Police have yet to identify who abandoned the baby./PN
