BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects were arrested in two separate entrapment operations in this city yesterday.
Antidrug operatives of Police Station 5 apprehended 46-year-old Richard Dequiña past midnight.
Seized from Dequiña were five sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P25,000 and P500 marked money.
In Barangay 2, 40-year-old Dennis Britania was arrested around 1 a.m.
Britania – resident of Barangay Singcang-Airport – allegedly sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500, a police report showed.
When frisked, the suspect yielded four more sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P74,800.
Britania and Dequiña were taken to the police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
