BACOLOD City – The City Legal Office (CLO) here carried out a clearing operation along Cuadra Street in Barangay 7 yesterday following a complaint by several business establishments in the area.
Levy Pangue, head of the CLO’s City Enforcement Team (CET), said they removed six illegal structures in the said area just across the Bacolod City Public Plaza in coordination with the Bacolod Environment and Natural Resources Office (BENRO).
Several businessmen had earlier complained to the city government of foul odor and the establishment of shanties of informal settlers on Cuadra Street./PN
