BACOLOD City – Two individuals were recently collared, and around P686,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized in separate buy-bust operations here.
The operation in Purok San Sebastian, Barangay Sum-ag at approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, yields P346,800 worth of the illegal substance.
Police apprehended suspect Nelbert Rivera, 32, a resident of Purok Pinetree, Barangay Tabunan in Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Recoveries included nine plastic sachets containing more or less 51 grams of suspected shabu, along with the P1,000 buy-bust money and P100 cash.
In a separate operation, another suspect was apprehended in Purok Avocado, Barangay 20 at around 9:48 p.m. on Friday, March 8.
An estimated P340,000 worth of suspected shabu was found in the possession of suspect Geronimo Dela Cena, 27, a resident of Purok Rizal, Barangay 27.
The illegal substance recovered weighed more or less 50 grams.
