BACOLOD City – While this city remains under Alert Level 4, the general curfew hours will be retained until at least Nov. 14.

According to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), the curfew is from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

However, this may be shortened when the city slides to a lower alert level classification.

The city also has an existing ordinance on the curfew hours, as well as the use of facemasks and face shields.

In Negros Occidental, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson issued an executive order shortening the general curfew hours.

Minors are expected to be already indoors from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., while adults 12 midnight to 4 a.m. Negros Occidental is currently under Alert Level 2.

On the other hand, the EOC reminds Bacolodnons to continue observing the minimum health standards against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and have themselves vaccinated.

Yesterday, the city government expressed confidence that it will meet its goal to inoculate 100 percent of its target population before the year ends.

Bacolod has so far posted a 50 percent vaccination rate, according to Mayor Evelio Leonardia.

Data from the EOC showed a total of 269,741 Bacolodnons already received jabs, with 235,392 getting at least one dose on top of the 34,349 receiving the single-shot J&J vaccine./PN
