BACOLOD City – The Diocese of Bacolod will be having a major reshuffling of priests.
The new appointments were announced during the Chrism Mass held on Maundy Thursday at the San Sebastian Cathedral.
Rev. Fr. Ronaldo Quijano will be the new Vicar General of the diocese, while Fr. Rene Gaylon was appointed to be the Oeconomus.
The new Chancellor of the diocese will be Fr. Marvin Labasan, while Fr. Dominic Derramas will be the Judicial Vicar.
Fr. Chris Gonzales was appointed as Pastoral Director, while Fr. Gregorio Neri was named as the diocese’s Property Custodian.
The diocese’s Vicars Forane was also reshuffled, with Fr. Noli Blancaflor appointed as Vicar of Victorias City; Fr. Joevic Lemoncito for Silay City; Fr. Ronaldo Quijano at the San Sebastian Cathedral; and Fr. Mitchel Guadalupe at Redemptorist.
Also appointed as Vicars were Fr. Rayman Asoy of San Antonio Abad; Fr. Joel Roquez for Alijis; Fr. Orlando Gargar for the Our Lady of Triumph; Fr. Salvador Barcelona at Murcia; Fr. Lou-an Torrefranca at Sum-ag; Fr. Jesmar Manato of Bago City; Fr. Notdel Soriano of La Carlota City; and Fr. Alfredo Gamarcha at Hinigaran.
The reshuffling of priests will come into effect on May 15, 2023./PN
