BACOLOD City – The City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) seized P476,800 worth of suspected shabu in Purok Kapawa, Barangay Tangub.
Harem Muleta, 37, of Purok 7, Dala, Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, was arrested during the operation around 9:12 p.m. on June 22.
Six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, including the buy-bust item, and one knot-tied transparent plastic bag of suspected shabu were recovered. All weighed a total of more or less 70 grams.
The BCPO tagged Muleta as a high-value drug suspect.
The suspect was held at Police Station 8 and will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
