BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Comprehensive Health Program (BacCHP) desks placed in two malls here are now open.

Cuaycong reminded applicants to bring two valid identification cards (IDs) indicating they are city residents.
She earlier said that in case of only one valid ID, they will confirm the residency through the list of voters from the city’s Commission on Elections office.
Cuaycong added that BacCHP is a family card wherein a cardholder’s dependents declared under Philippine Health Insurance membership are also qualified members of BacCHP.
Earlier, Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez assured that no residents of this city will be left behind and deprived of this comprehensive health program.
“Wala sang target [number of beneficiaries]. As long as you are a resident of Bacolod, pwede gid ka avail sang BacCHP,” Cuaycong added.
Data from the city government showed that as of July 19, around 55,000 residents have been issued BacCHP IDs, almost 5,000 cardholders have already availed themselves of the service, and 107,425 have pending BacCHP membership applications.
