BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at around P84,000 was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2.
The suspected illegal drugs contained in 20 sachets were seized from two suspects – Neil Sitjar, 34, of Barangay 2 and Cha Turbanos, 48, of Barangay 14, a police report showed.
Sitjar and Turbanos were caught after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer on Wednesday.
Antidrug personnel of Police Station 2 staged the sting operation.
Sitjar and Turbanos were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 2 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
