BACOLOD City – Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts showed its dominance in the athletics event of the 2019 Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) over the weekend.
Antonette Jay Aguillon spearheaded the secondary girls with five golds in 100-meter and 200-meter dash, long jump and in 4×100 and 4×400 relays, while her sister Krisha Aguillon had a gold in 4×100 relay and silver in 100-meter and 200-meter dash.
Ara Rahbea Delotavo, meanwhile, had four golds in 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles, 4×100 and 4×400 relay and bronze in 400-meter dash. Sister Shalthea Delotavo bagged silver in 400-meter and 800-meter dash.
Dona Mae De Leon harvested two golds in triple jump and high jump. Jade Cordova had a gold in 4×400 relay and silvers in 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles.
Biance Seroy had gold in 4×100 relay and silvers in long jump and triple jump. April Anne Dealagdon won gold in 4×400 relay and silvers in 1,500-meter and 3,000-meter dash.
In secondary boys, Arkel Santero got silvers in long jump, triple jump and high jump, and a bronze in 4×400 relay.
Nathan Jundana had two bronzes in long jump and high jump. John Mark Mercado had a bronze in 4×400 relay and Ranzford Baodan had a silver in 2k walkathon and a bronze in 4×400 relay.
In elementary girls, Maryal Alfia Siglos nabbed golds in 800-meter and 1,500-meter relay and silver in 400-meter relay.
In elementary boys, Alessandro Sebastien Subayco captured gold in the 800-meter run, silver in 400-meter run and bronze in 1,500-meter run.
Dave Recodo won golds in shot put and discus throw and silver in javelin throw. Adrian Alagaban had a gold in triple jump. Rey Frederick Uy had a silver in triple jump and Richard Tan had bronzes in 800-meter and 4×400-meter relay.
