Bacolod tracksters net 10 medals in amateur games

MANILA – Several players from Bacolod City made their presence felt at the start of the Filipino-Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation (FCAAF) Track and Field Invitational Cup at Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

Antonette Jay Aguillon and Jaden Gil Rivera led their opening-day campaign on Saturday with two golds each.

Aguillon won the secondary girls 100m event and triple jump while Rivera took the top plums in secondary boys 1500m and 3000m steeple chase.

Godwin Tulio finished with two medals – a silver in secondary boys 400m hurdles and a bronze in long jump.

Other silver medal winners were May Therese Gula in secondary girls 1500m, Ara Rahbea Delotavo in secondary girls 400m hurdles and Shalthea Delotavo in elementary girls 100m.

Another bronze medalist was Kenjie Okudaira in secondary boys 100m.

Franz Gela Romualdo Bintad settled for sixth place in secondary girls shot put.
